1. Your Instagram has grown into a valuable resource for parents. What has been your strategy for building a strong and engaged community?
My goal has always been to create a safe, supportive, and relatable space for parents. I focus on authenticity—sharing real experiences, challenges, and small victories of parenting. Consistency is key, so I ensure that my content is both informative and engaging, whether it’s parenting tips, meal plans, or fun activities for kids. Engaging with my audience through comments, DMs, and live sessions also helps in building a strong community. I also collaborate with like-minded brands and experts to bring valuable insights to my followers.
2. How do you balance your role as a parent and content creator while ensuring quality time with your family?
It’s all about setting priorities and boundaries. I follow a structured schedule where I dedicate specific hours to content creation while ensuring that family time remains non-negotiable. I involve my kids in some of my creative work, like DIY projects or recipe videos, so it becomes a fun family activity rather than work. Also, I believe in digital detox moments—putting away devices and being fully present during meals, bedtime routines, and playtime.
3. Family vacations are an excellent way to bond. What are your top destinations and travel tips for parents with young kids?
Absolutely! Traveling with kids can be a beautiful experience if planned well. Some of my favorite kid-friendly destinations include:
Bali, Indonesia – Family-friendly resorts, cultural experiences, and beautiful beaches.
Dubai, UAE – Exciting theme parks, aquariums, and desert safaris make it an excellent choice.
Singapore – World-class attractions like Universal Studios, Sentosa Island, and the Singapore Zoo.
Goa, India – Relaxed beaches, water sports, and vibrant markets for a perfect family getaway.
Travel tips: Always carry a well-packed travel kit with snacks, entertainment (coloring books, puzzles, or tablets with pre-downloaded content), and first-aid essentials. Opt for accommodations with kid-friendly amenities and plan travel schedules that align with your child’s nap times. Most importantly, be flexible—traveling with kids means adapting to unexpected situations!
4. What are some creative indoor activities that help kids develop essential skills while having fun?
Indoor activities can be a great way to encourage creativity and learning. Some of my favorites include:
- Sensory bins – Using rice, pasta, or kinetic sand to improve fine motor skills.
- DIY science experiments – Simple volcano eruptions or making slime at home.
- Storytelling & puppet shows – Helps with language development and imagination.
- Baking together – Teaches math (measuring ingredients) and patience while having fun.
- Treasure hunts & obstacle courses – Keeps kids active and enhances problem-solving skills.
5. Managing a household in a nuclear family setup can be challenging. How do you divide responsibilities to maintain harmony?
Communication and teamwork are crucial. My husband and I have a shared approach where we divide daily responsibilities based on our schedules and strengths. For instance, he handles bedtime stories while I take care of meal planning. We also encourage our kids to take on small responsibilities, like organizing their toys or setting the table, to instill a sense of teamwork. Additionally, we plan our weeks in advance, ensuring that household tasks, work commitments, and personal time are all balanced. And most importantly, we always make room for ‘us time’—because a happy partnership makes for a happy home!
